I booked through Expedia,,,, This is not about the property,,,, but this is about Expedia,,,,, Most of the time,,,, Expedia is very good,,,, but sometimes,,,, it seems like Expedia website is slow,,,,, won't allow you to put dates for a new booking,,,, My solution,,,, I went to another website and got the new booking,,,, Expedia,,,, I hope you fix your website

Front desk staff was quite nice and helpful. Parking garage was a little difficult to find from the outside, but once in (after ringing the bell for admission), it was clear where to park. The price was reasonable and the room was lovely.

Achat April 2019
I always stay at the Achat when I visit Frankenthal. It's ideally located near the town centre and in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. There's also a nice Italian restaurant right beside the hotel where we had dinner twice during our stay. This hotel is very reasonably priced and comfortable. All the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful so I can only recommend it.

An honest, basic, hotel. No frills, a little dated, but very clean, and standard of buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise. I had a single bed but the duvet was too small for it. Sparkling water bottle and champagne flute in room also a puzzle, especially as there was also a small kitchenette but with no crockery at all (I just wanted a glass / cup for some water!).

No frills
No Bar or restaurant at this hotel, so be aware that if you check in late, Frankenthal closes at 9pm. If you don't plan ahead, you may not get any food! The hotel is relatively modern and clean, for the price it is acceptable. Air conditioning would make it a stand out in the area, this is not currently available in any hotel locally. If you are travelling on a budget, this is probably the hotel to use.

There is a private parking lot outside the hotel. The room is clean. Free WIFI is offered in the guestroom but the WIFI signal is not so strong.

Checked in late had no problems because I phoned in advance, i was so hungry luckily had some euros, crisp and chocolat, beer and soft drinks were available from the vending machine you can't get food from anywhere at late times. The hotel wasn't amazing but it was the cheapest one avaible and its value for money plus it's 15 minutes away from Mannheim centre.

Our immediate impression was that the hotel was "tired". But our room, on the 5th floor, was clean and bright. The room and bathroom are small and dated. A small kitchen was also included. As a place to, sleep it was fine.

In the heart of Frankenthal
Achat is a no frills hotel yet everything one needs is in place. A real bathtub was a treat. The kitchenette was useful and the staff gladly supplied a couple of pots.

If you are going to visit Worms area
This is a great place to stay. 5 minute walk to the train station. Then a 10 minute ride to Worms. The personnel were extremely friendly. And since I drove, they allowed me to keep my vehicle in their secured garage until I got back from my sight seeing time. They even recommended certain places they felt were ideal to visit. The neighborhood is really nice. 5 minutes and you are at one of their town gates. The price I thought was fantastic! Oh, and breakfast, you have many options, and it is a fairly formal setting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. The shower in my room was tiny, other than that, I could not complain of anything.

Unremarkable in everyway
It was a place to sleep, but that is about it. The best part was the breakfast, which was included in the price. We were on the top floor and the bed was tucked under the slanting ceiling, so don't sit up too fast in bed! Clean and fairly comfortable. A good budget option.

We actually wanted a hotel in Heidelburg but the Hotels.com search result actually recommended me this hotel. I thought it wouldn't be much of a trouble but it was pretty far. Other than that everything was great! Loved the breakfast and the Italian restaurant beneath the hotel. Thank you!

easy access from major road ways. despite location near main roadway noise was not too bad and allowed for a good nights rest. Hotel is comfortable and hotel rates are very reasonable

Unfortunately we did not receive the two wake-up calls we requested, but it may have been a communication problem as we do not speak German. Suggest travellers that need a wake up call, make a personal visit to the front desk and give the hotel clerk the time of the call in writing.

Like many hotels I've seen in Germany, this one features a beautiful lobby. UNFORTUNATELY YOU DON'T SLEEP IN THE LOBBY!!!!!!! Pros: In downtown Wiesbaden. I received free coffee. Clean bed Cons: No A/C or fan. Carpet a little dirty. Open window to cool down = noisy street. Smells.... a little. Booger on the wall in my room. I wouldn't stay here again unless it was colder out and there was no where else to go. If it's above 70 find a park or a car to sleep in. Not the worst hotel I've stayed in but definitely in the top 5.

PEACEFUL VICINITY
The receptionist speaks excellent English, and very accommodating. She allowed us to park the car in front of the hotel patio when there was no parking spaces left in the car park. The room space was good, not too tight. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was hot. The beds were comfortable and firm, although the pillows could have been a little firmer too. The price was very reasonable. Yes, I would recommend the hotel to anyone. The quietness and tranquility was superb, especially after our long drive from England.

A Nice Suburban Hotel in Frankenthal
ACHAT is a nice, comfortable hotel and is an especially good location for local residents to use. It is located in a residential area (mostly tall apartments surrounding it) and close to a Sparkasse bank. The hotel is not too close to Ludwigshafen and the directions to the city are not always so clear. The rooms are clean and the breakfast area in the basement is especially nice!

Achat Comfort Hotel Frankenthal i.d. Pfalz
I stayed at this hotel for a week and was happy with the service and the location. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the basic standard furnishings of a 3 star hotel. However, since without air conditioning it can get hot in the summertime and there's only a small plug-in fan to cool off I would recommend a room facing away from the noisy main street which gets all the sun during the day and heats up the room. According to hotel literature WiFi access is free of charge in the hotel lobby only and there's a charge for using it in the rooms, however, when asking the reception staff I was told WiFi was also free in the rooms so better check that out on arrival. Breakfast was simple buffet style, bacon, sausages, eggs, cheese, rolls and bread etc. nothing fancy but satisfying and the breakfast room was not overcrowded. The overall impression was good, solid accomodation within 5 mins walk to the town centre and easy access to nearby places of interest. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely go there again. Good value for money.

ACHAT Frankenthal_ a great hotel choice
We stay in alot of hotels because of our work and lifestyle which is difficult for me as I am very picky about my living environment. ACHAT in Frankenthal was not a dissappointment. First of all it is a very good value compared to other hotels in the area. The rooms are kept very clean by friendly staff that are very accomodating. They are also surprisingly comfortable and larger than most European hotel rooms. The hotel itself is modern and well maintained. The desk staff are friendly, helpful, wonderful people. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

Ended up using a different hotel
I had to use a different Hotel than the one I booked on what I thought was with Hotels.com. I found out that there are two by the same name one within 10 miles of where the conference I was attending and another that was 30 miles away. I would not have intentionally booked something 30 miles away especially when the computer showed me options that were within 10 miles of the conference.

The Cornwall St Austell
This was a sudden weekend break and the hotel recommended by a friend as our usual one was full. It had only been opened 7 months so it was still very much on best behaviour. None of the staff appeared to be over 30 but they were all very efficient and intuitive. The hotel itself was a beautiful mix of old and new, with a large country house as the main reception rooms and the hotel rooms on 2 floors nestled into the hill behind it, connected by a corridor which also contained the actual reception. The rooms were sumptuous and faultless, the main house itself beautifully rebuilt and opened up, with a large fire roaring in the lounge, the smell of woodsmoke emanting through the building. The Infinity Pool and Gym were in a separate block to the far side of the hotel, again simply splendid. The Spa we didnt use, despite girlie bleating, I managed to cough and splutter my way through the price list. Breakfast was an excellent event but can be pricey if not inclusive. I fully recommend it.

But Don't Go On A Hot Day
The hotel was fine and the employees were very nice, but we picked the hottest day of the year to stay in a otel without air conditioning. The evening manager recommended a German Greek restaurant abot 2 blocks away and it was very good.

Used this hotel based on other reviews as a stopover on our way back from Austria to UK. Took some finding and is in the middle of an industrial/urbanised region and is not very pre-possessing so doesn't stand out easily. Was perfectly adequate for the purpose we needed it but wouldn't want to use it for more than one night. No restaurant on site, only breakfast room - and breakfast was very expensive - 14 euros - at least we thought it was. The receptionist did recommend a good restaurant/bar nearby where we did have a nice meal. No english speaking channels on the TV - which some may view as a plus but we wanted to try and catch up on news. Overall an OK.

hotel okay for price but... extremely small parking lot. underground parking cost 5 euros per day. NOTE: DO NOT HAVE THE BREAKFAST... IT'S OVERPRICED AND VERY LIMITED IN QUALITY AND QUANITY. Arrived for breakfast 1hour after service began. Several item trays were empty. Asked for eggs and was told by server that they were all gone and their would be no more. Save your money and eat elsewhere

Great Room for the money
The location is a short walk from the train station (15 minutes on foot) 5 minute walk to the central part of town. The rooms are quiet. The hotel clerk lent me his umbrella so that I could walk into town to buy a new one.

Soweit war alles okay. Da die kostenlosen Parkplätze besetzt waren musste ich aufs Parkhaus ausweichen. Hier finde ich 10 € pro Nacht überteuert
