"Our room had half eaten food in the fridge when we arrived and socks from the previous guest’s stay. Very nice hotel and staff, but extremely busy. If you are looking for a relaxed, quiet environment, this hotel is not the place."

"Overall, it was a great stay. The area was wonderful and conveniently located near everything we needed. The staff were nice, respectful, and welcoming. The pool was a great addition as well. The only downside was the bed, which could use some improvement as it caused some back discomfort. Other than that, it was a new and enjoyable experience."

"From the first day of my stay until checkout, my experience was very disappointing. We had to switch rooms multiple times due to ongoing issues. The first room had bedbugs, which forced us to move immediately. We then upgraded to a remodeled room, which looked much better; however, the WiFi was extremely poor and unreliable, making it difficult to use. Because of this, we had to move a second time. In the third room, the WiFi was finally acceptable, but the air conditioning did not work properly. The room was very hot for the last two nights, which made it uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. Additionally, our room was not properly serviced—there were no clean towels provided, and housekeeping did not maintain the room as expected. While I will say that the customer service staff were polite and did their best to assist, the overall experience was unacceptable. I am especially frustrated that I was charged for an upgrade despite the ongoing issues and lack of satisfactory accommodations. Overall, I did not get much rest during my stay and left very dissatisfied. "

"First time in my life ever having to put a deposit on a Motel 6. I'm the room on the back of the toilet was an open roll of toilet later that clearly had been water damaged. Right outside the only window at the back of the room was the noisy freeway so no fresh air there. Right outside the door on with side we're people standing smoking off and on. Even with the door closed the smell of smoke kept filling into the room. Other than that, the room was nice. I love cooking my own food. Nice sized, clean, refrigerator and a good working microwave. Next time I visit Fountain Valley I will find a different motel. One that isn't next to the freeway and that has a designated smoking area, away from the room doors."

"Room was clean, as expected but the bathtub looked like it had been resurfaced and was peeling and the tub downspout was pulled away from the wall with the overall appearance of the tub area to be horrible and unclean looking. Read the small print they are charging $10.00 a day for self parking with all the spots open to non guests. There was also another Self-Parking Revenue $10.00 on my checkout bill."
