We stayed in the raven tipi for one night to break up a journey from Yosemite to LA. A great experience for a family. The area is remote (off the 395) and close to Death Valley National park. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an early morning swim the day we left in a large pool. The bar and cafe does serve some food and there’s a garage close by where supplies can be bought. It was good value for a family of 5. It is not a hotel don’t expect a 5* hotel. we stayed over one night and were very pleased with this hotel. it seemed very new, super-clean, nice staff, huge rooms with a lovely bathroom and bed linen. The air-con was very efficient, thankfully as the outside temp was around 43deg. there was a hotel laundry area and breakfast was nice.

We pulled in to town late for a stopover and the manager greeted us warmly and was very helpful. We had a slow puncture on our vehicle and he suggested a local reliable tire place for the morning.
The next morning the tire was completely flat and on the off-chance we asked the staff if they had a pump, which they did and lent us! We were able to limp the car to the garage, for the tire fixed and were back on the road in under an hour.

At check in, the manager recognised me from THREE years ago! That is an amazing memory.
The room is spotless and well-decorated. Having a fridge and microwave always help when travelling. There are two chairs, a rack for luggage a desk and storage space as well as hanging space.
