Our stay overall was good the first 3 days. The condo looked clean, the bed was comfortable, and the washer/dryer in the condo was helpful with a little one. All amenities were in working condition and there was plenty of space for us to unpack our bags. Initially we envisioned ourselves coming back here as a family every year. However, on the evening of that third day we saw a *huge* cockroach running across our bedroom floor. It was unsettling, but we thought it was a one off and figured it was because we were staying so close to the beach. Then on the evening of our final night we saw 3 more cockroaches in the kitchen. We are clean people, we took our trash out regularly, we didn’t leave food out, I did laundry every day so it’s not like we had soaking towels/swim suits laying around. Unfortunately, I can’t speak on what management did or didn’t do to resolve the issue. Since we thought that first sighting was a one off we didn’t say anything, by the time we saw them again we were basically on our way out. But from reviews that I’ve read since our encounter, these condos seem to have consistent roach issues, and management seems to be little to no help when this issue is reported. I want so badly to give this area another shot because we loved the gated community, the pools, the golf course, and being walking distance from the beach. But I'm not sure if it’s worth risking mine and my family’s comfort wondering if/when that first roach is going to appear.
