Room wasn't ready , ac didn't work for 2 days , no screens on the balcony doors , no beach like is advertise !!! and restaurants near by ! We had to rent a car by paying for uber to take us to nearest rental place 40 minute from resort ! Extremely disappointed !!! Irena Ocenas

Amazing stay at Lovers Key Resort

Had an amazing stay. The rooms are very clean and you get all the basic necessities. The customer service and property owner Diana was happy to help with any inquiries. The outside pool area was fantastic and the Flipper’s restaurant must be tried. There are also washers/driers by the front desk.

I emailed Expedia and VTrips/Distnctive vacations and never had a response. I will be emailing everyone with pictures of dirty blood stained towels and sheets in our room that we noticed the day or second day we arrived. No rep ever stopped by to see us and there office was not on site or near Lovers Key in Fort Myers??

They did not have my reservation listed correctly. Never received information for check in before arriving. Had to make several phone calls with property management company to get checked in. The room was dated. The sofa bed extremely uncomfortable! The restaurant on site was excellent!

One change that would make a perfect stay

This location was peaceful, restful and rejuvenating. The only negative that I would have to mention is the living room furniture. The sofa and recliner appeared dirty and dingy. We had to cover them with sheets before using them. If the furniture is replaced with a more durable type, appropriate for regular use, this place would give heaven a run for the money. We will definitely return to unit 404, hopefully the owners will address this major concern and our next stay would be perfect. Blessings to you, Distinctive Beach Rentals

The code didn’t work after the first 2 times going in and out. They tried resetting it and then said a maintenance man would come unlock it. This was about 10pm so we were standing outside waiting for him until 1am with no update. He gets there and all he did is try the code like we had been doing. We were forced to go somewhere else that was way more expensive and our luggage was locked in the room. We finally get to bed at new place at 2am and the place calls us at 9 giving us an attitude because we haven’t come and got our luggage yet. Horrible service and I won’t stay there now because I am afraid I will get locked out again so I am forced to spend a ton of money booking a place last minute. What a way to start my birthday weekend. Will never stay here or recommend it. Horrible place

Es hieß es finden Arbeiten an der Außer Fassade statt. Allerdings waren auch Fahrstühle eine Baustelle. Es hieß wir haben einen Parkplatz, nur die Hälfte des Parkplatzes wurde von Baufahrzeugen blockiert und dann sind die Leute aus dem Restaurant (um Valet Parking zu Sparen) auch einfach zu unserem Parkplatz gefahren. Laut Expedia sollten dort kleine Geschäfte sein. Außer einem total überfüllten Restaurant und Riesen Baustellen war da gar nichts! Wir hatten auch keine Möbel auf den Balkon. Haben auch keine Poolhandtücher bekommen weil wir keinen Zimmerservice hatten. ABER den vollen Preis kassiert! Totale Abzocke - nie wieder. Und ein Vermerk, dass die komplette Inser von einem Hurrican heimgesucht wurde wäre auch hilfreich gewesen!

Beautiful resort, terrible unit

The resort and property are lovely but the unit was poorly appointed, not functional and lacking in many ways. First of all the excessive communication from the third party agency, including an erroneous $1k bill, was frustrating. The hodgepodge furniture, extremely uncomfortable sofa, poorly placed dining room light (it’s not over anything and quite low so bumps adult heads), teeny tiny bedroom tv and the parking lot view left much to be desired. It would have been close to impossible to cook dinner for ourselves in the kitchen, there was little in the way of proper cooking implements. Will return, but NOT to this unit.
