"This was my first time staying in one of the cottages across the street from Mantanzas Inn Bayside Resort, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The Bayside staff provide a very clean and tidy residence. The staff was also friendly and informative. The parking beside the cottage was adequate, somewhat protected, and convenient. "

"Great place! Staff were wonderful, the room was updated and clean, bed was comfy great water pressure for the shower and breakfast was delicious! The lady that cooks was wonderful and accommodating! I wish I could remember her name she was great! I will definitely stay here again!"

"Overall experience was ok to good. My wife and I stayed in a beach front room 5th floor. There is no peace or tranquility if you want to sit on the balcony at night. The pool for the kids is very loud and the entertainment whatever it might have been that night just travels right up the building into your room. 2 pools essentially for the kids and 1 adult pool. Adult pool and area pretty small. If you would like to use that pool get your towels and get there early or forget it. The beach is nice. However, if you get down there early (10am) for a beach chair you're gonna wait at least another hour on average for the umbrella. Oh ya, be sure to flag them down to get one because if you don't they will drive right by. Overall we feel the Pink Shell is more of a kids experience place. If you want a more adult relaxed feel I don't think you will get it here. 5 stars for the breakfast. It was really good and a good selection. We usually took it to go and ate on the balcony in our room. 5 stars for the Valet. One night when we went to down to get the car to go out, the valet did a dead sprint to get our car. Not necessary but they were always on it. Almost forgot, 10 stars on the sunsets!"

"Room was clean, cleaning ladies cleaned everything really well. We had our own breakfast so we didn’t try their breakfast. They had a free coffee bar all day. The beach view was awesome. Beautiful area behind the hotel with a pool. I highly recommend this hotel!!"

"The staff at this place were EXTREMELY rude except for the staff that checked us in one out! We had breakfast at the Sundeck, the food was not made fresh it was prepared ahead of time and there was a confrontation between a staff member and a customer in we actually thought that someone was going to get hurt! Pretty unbelievable that we witnessed this, it made us feel very uncomfortable! This resort is EXTREMELY noisy so if you want a place to relax and be treated with respect from the staff, Lani Kai is not the place for you! On Sunday half the restaurants closed early! The bartenders down at the beach bar were standing around and totally ignored us!! (SO RUDE)!! Grateful we only stayed for one nice!! I would not waste my hard earned money at this place unless you like loud noisy rooms and rude unprofessional staff!!"

"The condo was clean with plenty of space. Full kitchen and great views from the balcony. The only negative is we experienced several groups of rowdy guests and after office hours there is little security and no one to contact."
