Staff was friendly and helpfull. There is a few shops and restaurants across the street. Our only negative experience was our shuttle ride from hotel to airport. I think the driver was also the dispatch person as well. He was on the phone the entire time. Taking calls from customers and calling drivers about pickups. The van was nit clean. Seats are all stained and very dirty looking. We sat in row of seats directly behind the driver and only 1 seat belt worked. The other two did not work. The end that you hook seat belt into were all taped up. He should have informed us of that and directed us to seats that have working seat belts. When we arrived at airport he got out grabbed our bags out of back of van and got on car and left. Cause he was too distracted by phone calls. We just did not feel safe in his van. The shuttle ride from airport to hotel on the day we arrived was great. The van was clean all seat belts worked. And driver was very friendly.

Liked free shuttle from FLL airport to the hotel. Friendly staff. Good AC & thermostat. Fridge & microwave. Blackout curtains. Bathroom door was in need of paint. Walk-in shower was a bit small. Limited options for dining when walking nearby. Was $15pp (cash) to take their shuttle to cruise port the next day. Would stay again!

Our room was misty with a weird odour to begin with. The sink drained very slowly, the shower had not been cleaned from the previous guests, and the hallway hadn't been vacuumed in the recent past. Breakfast was OK but crowded. Close to the airport and Port Everglades. The pool area was quite good.

Love the pet duck. The doors for the two rooms we rented had locks that made them almost impossible to open. I hated leaving my room for fear I couldn’t get in. Fortunately we had our son in law who managed to handle the door. The hotel was perfectly situated for the airport and getting to our cruise.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had during my stay at the Hampton Inn River Oaks. As a loyal customer, I expected a certain level of comfort and quality, but unfortunately, my recent visit fell short of these expectations. During my stay in room 515, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted my overall experience. Firstly, the bathroom sink was blocked, which resulted in slow drainage which caused inconvenience and discomfort. Despite a plumber being sent to address the issue, the problem persisted even after they claimed it was fixed. Secondly, the shower had very low water pressure, making it difficult to enjoy a refreshing shower experience. Additionally, the toilet in the room was unstable and rocked back-and-forth, posing a safety hazard and causing discomfort. Moreover, I noticed a general mustiness in the room, which detracted from the overall ambiance and cleanliness. This was particularly concerning as it affected my ability to relax and enjoy my stay. I understand that maintenance issues can arise, but the lack of effective resolution is disappointing. As a valued guest, I believe it is important to address these issues promptly and ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I kindly suggest that you take immediate action to address these issues and ensure that similar problems do not occur for your future guests. As for me, I will not return.

This facility was old with dirty room, broken fixtures in the bathroom. Air mechanics made knocking noise all night long. Floor was dirty...overall dirty and broken down facility.
