Michell was wonderful at check in. We arrived late and she offered late check out which we loved. View is amazing! We enjoyed the tub and fireplace. Plenty of clean towels too.

Boat harbor sound horn went off every 30 seconds and you could hear it in the room.

Thank you for your review. Our working harbor uses the fog horn to navigate, we apologize if the noise disturbed you. We provide ear plugs in each room for our noise sensitive guests. Many of our guests enjoy the ambience and find the low droning soothing and romantic.We appreciate your feedback.T

Excellent experience- our neighbor unfortunately decided to smoke on the no-smoking terrace- we called the front office and they responded immediately- great views! We will stay again

The view is unbeatable and the staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast they offer is better than most. Will definitely be staying here again.

Room with a view did not disappoint, clean and comfortable. Driving on to the site can be tricky if someone is coming up from parking area. Parking is limited, but has a overflow area in a dirt area. Didn’t tried the free breakfast. If you can’t do stairs this might not be your place as it doesn’t have an elevator.

Our experience at North Cliff Hotel was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled just a 5-minute walk from the picturesque Noyo Bay, this elevator-free gem offers a refined ambiance that seamlessly blends with its coastal surroundings. The romantic suites, adorned with gas fireplaces, sturdy wood furnishings, and private balconies overlooking the ocean, provided a serene retreat. The attention to detail, from the whirlpool tubs to the vaulted ceilings, enhanced the overall charm of our stay. The staff's warmth and hospitality were truly exceptional, especially during our anniversary celebration. They went above and beyond, decorating our room and surprising us with complimentary wine—a thoughtful gesture that added a touch of magic to our special occasion. The convenient location, just 1.4 miles from the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens and 2 miles from Glass Beach, coupled with complimentary perks like on-site parking and a delightful continental breakfast, made our stay memorable. The adjacent walking trails along the coastline wells awesome! The WiFi was weak and cell service was also, but that wasn’t our point of being there, the rest of the experience was great!

BEST HOTEL.
First off, the room was AMAZING. Took full advantage of hot tub with beautiful view of the ocean. The bed was comfy and big, everything in the room was very clean and they offered a lot of complimentary stuff. Such as shampoo, water bottles and comfy little spa robes. The service at the front desk was very helpful and super friendly. I arrived around 1 pm knowing check in was at 3 but decided to see if maybe our room was ready. The girl in front was very helpful and asked housekeeping if it was ready and even told me if we gave her about 15 min it'll be done. Super nice would definitely stay here again and hopefully with more than just two nights. 10/10!!

California coastal trip
hotel was a great find! It is very cozy with the fireplace and other extra amenities.All of the rooms (even the bottom floor) have a great view of the ocean. Only drawback, no elevator and a lot of stairs.

Excellent hotel!
Excellent hotel right on the water. Staff is always so friendly and helpful every time we go here. The rooms are very clean and have all the amenities you could need. The fireplace and bathtub are perfect. This hotel is so close to everything. The beds are soft With lots of blankets and pillows. The furniture is comfortable. TV works great and there are always movies available to watch. Thick bathrobes are provided for you during the stay, and I love that. This is definitely a gem!

Loved the room and king bed. Lotsa pillows. Pretty stingy with bottled water. And coffee packs. No elevator to upper floors. Not good for old folks. Would stay again, on first floor.
