Lovely check in process with the gentleman who lives on site. Very good location close to everything you need. There’s a pub, restaurants and fish and chips shops literally just around the corner. Very close walk to the lake. Room was spacious and clean. Whilst there are no modern comforts (i.e Netflix), the price was very reasonable. Will definitely come back.

When checking in I parked on the grass to allow other cars entry and exit access. The manager was most annoyed and could have been more diplomatic.

Hi Bruce, Appreciate you feedback. Please allow me to apologise for any at all discomfort experienced or confusion as to my candour, this I sincerely offer. We pride our effort to ensure all guests feel welcome and comfortable. Indeed I do recall our conversation about parking on the grass and yes I did mention it only as it genuinely was unusual for a checking-in guest to drive on the lawn. I did not at all feel upset rather 'bemused'. Again please accept my sincere apologies, no serious issue was taken on my behalf. Your measure to ensure easy access for other guests was well considered. Everything worked well - right from booking online and then checking in. Anthony was most helpful. As noted above, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The location of the property is excellent too.

The staff were terrific. They let us in early. We had a 50th birthday lunch so we arrived and our room was ready for us so I could get changed and touch up makeup before we left. Which was great as we had a 3 hour trip before we arrived. Would definatly stay again.

There was no soap in the bathroom and when we went to get milk the staff were having a verbally aggressive argument before emerging rolling drunk to attend to us. Not a good look in front of a kid about to have his first surgery.

Lisa, Just the same apologies for any inconvenience if you ran out of milk, generally house supplies one bottle upon arrival and from that the guests buy their own milk as is standard for a 3 Star facility. With regards to the soap - all canisters are checked regularly again sincere apologies for any inconvenience -.Indeed upon request on the odd occasion that eventuates we refill immediately.Without Prejudice:As for the insinuation of staff being 'Rolling Drunk' ????? truly beggars belief that anyone would suggest such nonsense. Not too sure what you think you may have heard reflecting 'verbally aggressive argument'? May well have been the TV or perhaps the car park next to the Motel, we certainly don't recall any recent noise, arguing from the Motel. I will add there is often a person of poor mental health that parades up and down the Wallis Street yelling at invisible people - may well have been what you think you heard. Don't really have anything else to suggest, rather puzzling really? Hope your child's medical procedure went well. Have a nice day.

Nice stay
Nice convenient location. Check-in was fast and staff very friendly. Room had everything we needed. We were allowed to leave our car parked in motel while we explored the town, really appreciated that.
