I didn’t want to leave! This is a beautiful hotel with what feels like botanical gardens, an amazing pool and right on the beach with Etna always visible. The staff are all super friendly from reception, to the pool bar to the wine bar, and can help to book taxis. The pool and main restaurant served great food and if you want a cheaper meal there is a local restaurant next door on the beach. The hotel has a beaitiful view of Mt Etna. Whilst we were there it was erupting and we could see the ash clods in the day and the lava flows at night, The parking is off road oposite the entrance. Breakfast was lovely. Staff are all super helpful. The air condition in the room sounded like an aircaft taking off so we didn't get much sleep. Stayed here for 4 nights with friends. Drove past the entrance on arrival and had to take a detour to get back to it but once we arrived what a lovely surprise. The hotel staff are lovely.
