The air conditioner was at least 50 year old and very noisy. Being renovated and workers working all day on a Sunday with drilling going on all day till 5:00pm Night diesel trains very noisy. Never again at this one

We did not stay once we saw the room. The room was smelly, dirty and in extremely poor condition. The air con was broken, curtains hanging off the tracks. The outsie area was dirty. We asked for different room and was only offered an extra blanket which didnt address the real concern.

Was conveniently located on my route so best solution for overnight stay when heading down Newell Highway to Melbourne. Only negative was room was stuffy requiring airing out when first opened. Overall good for price.

Found it very rundown, bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, stains on the bed covers, the bathroom/toilet door squeaked so much when you had to go to the toilet in the middle of the night I'm sure the neighbours heard it, the traffic, cars, train etc was so loud you couldn't sleep and on top of that there was a drunk guy talking on the phone between 2.00am and 4.00am so I don't think anyone got sleep, the owners should have come out and told him to get lost or keep it down. Never again

half the hooks on the curtains missing..curtains hanging off rails How hard is it to replace runners? very old and tired decor...if you are paying over $110 a night it needs to be a whole lot better than this...the whole place is rundown and shambolic. Disgraceful in this day and age

Thanks to the receptionist for her good communication and leaving heater on knowing I would arrive late. Wasn't a flash room but to get a room under 100 bucks these days is rare. And if you're a light sleeper you might not appreciate the goods trains and trucks roaring passed, albeit it's probably the same throughout the town

As an ex resident i knew this to be a premiere motel and restaraunt. Beds and bedding very poor. Building left to ruin inside and out. Even the reception looked like it was derelict. Stay in another motel.

Table in the room was dirty, had not been cleaned. Bath mat and face washer were not supplied, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so this made the floor wet and slippery. there was no latch on the front window so our room was not secure and could easily be accessed from outside. bed light did not work.

The room was just ok, sheets did not look clean, pillow old and lumpy. Very dated and thrown together. Very noisy too. I left when I woke up at 3 am just to not have to stay a minute longer.

Property is location across from a train line with a level crossing. Noise from neighbours doing normal things. Pretty sure when they were showering, there was a high pitch squeal. Toilet and vanity in need of replacement. TV remote had gunk built up around the buttons. Unknown stains on the sheets. Woke up one morning with an insect bite that left a big red welt on me.

We arrived at the motel with our elderly bulldog to be told we had an upstairs room up two flights of steps... 1.. My husband has bad knees & cant climb stairs 2.. Our old dog could not possibly climb the steps 2 to 3 times to go outside.. In future it would be an idea (in any motel) to tell you the pet rooms are upstairs & therefore give you a choice.. I know it was a peak weekend & they were booked out but the management wasn’t very forthcoming in offering to change rooms with a lower level that hadn’t arrived yet..
