"The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Old Town and within walking distance of many major historical landmarks. It was also conveniently located near public transportation and directly across from a taxi stand, which was extremely useful when we needed to get to the bus station at 5:00 a.m. (taxi cost approx 5 euros on the meter).
The property is approximately a 10-minute drive from the train station, with a taxi costing around €10.
Damir was an incredible host—very responsive, helpful, and happy to provide recommendations based on what we were looking for. His communication leading up to and throughout our stay was excellent. He even told me that if I had trouble finding a taxi at 4:30 a.m., I could call him. Thankfully, I didn't need to, but the gesture was incredibly kind, genuine, and much appreciated.
The building itself feels a little gloomy when you first enter, but as you make your way up the stairs, it becomes noticeably more modern and welcoming. Our room and bathroom were both very clean.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in the heart of the Old Town."
