"The Kingfisher Chalet was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Gaynor and Andrew were friendly and welcoming, giving information about the local area. Can definitely recommend The Hare for dinner/drinks, staff there were very friendly too. Plenty of bird life to enjoy, even if the kingfisher itself didn’t make an appearance for our stay. Would definitely consider staying again!"

The place is a joy to stay at set in a beautiful area, well located to amenities, very quiet, no noise or hassle from owners, well equipped internally, good internet, easy parking, comfy bed, great kitchen and bathroom and great value for money. "The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."
