The Inn at Tomichi Village

"I will say, the grounds were nice - lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy the views and the breakfast was great! However, our first room was in a dark corner with one window that overlooked a parking lot and the door faced a storage closet. The bathroom vanity was maybe 30” tall with a cracked or veined sink. We could see daylight all around the door. We felt like we were in a closet. When asking about a possible move to another room we were assigned the room upstairs- right over our original room. This one faced the stairwell. We asked if there was some other choice and were told if we paid $34 more we could upgrade to a king in a different location. That’s what we did for the 2nd night. We wanted a nice experience in the mountains but that meant our stay cost an average $178/night!! And the room(s) were not special. I believe the Inn caters to visiting sports teams (3 were there when we were) and maybe doesn’t need the individual person or family to stay. So we won’t."

"Room was clean. Welcome cookies good. Basic continental breakfast but no decaf coffee. Shower hot with good water pressure. Good temp in room and comfy bed/linens/pillows. Small room fridge was adequate for our needs. Didnt use the hot tub or washer/dryer, so cant specifically rate amenities. Fair price for stay but would book directly with them for a better price as they will beat competitor cost. Would book again if returning to town."
