Looking West from the Kilewnan Burn Somewhere between the photographer location and the distant hills lies Loch Lomond. I think the prominent peak on the skyline may be Ben Lomond, but I'm happy to be corrected.

Looking North-west from the Kilewnan Burn We were impressed by the open vista towards the Highlands from the slopes of Dunmore, but completely unable to agree on the names of the mountains we were looking at!

View from the Kilewnan Burn The drystane dyke is marked on the 1:25,000 map, and the foreground is in this square. However it is the distant view to the north which catches the eye. On the right are the Fintry Hills.

Endrick Water A slight misnomer, as the river itself is obscured by vegetation. Its course is among the trees at the left of the flat fields in the floor of the glen. The Fintry Hills are on the left, and part of the village of Fintry is at the foot of the foreground slope, beyond Fintry Wood.

Superb Hotel, Very clean, value for money, excellent staff, food excellent and location less 8min from Argyle Street train station. View of the river and two brdges from the hotel room was breathtaking. Thoroughly enjoyed this stay. Would fully recommend anyone coming to Glasgow for a stay
