Lovely centre/square clean, friendly and good restaurants. Fantastic views over Florence and beautiful walks . There is a roman archeological site with amphitheater, ancient town walls, museums, convent and a cathedral containing sacred art works.
Nice choice if restaurants in the main square
Fiesole has some good restaurants which you can go up to the square via the number 7 bus which the buses are on time.
Great view from the hotel, food was good but a bit expensive. Road is very noisy and can hear it from the terrace. Rooms not as fancy as advertised and the swimming pool was tiny which was disappointing. The staff were very friendly and very helpful
