"Front desk staff was awful. Check in was at 4 wasn’t able to check in until almost 5 and one of my rooms still wasn’t ready. Pool was closed one day we were there."
"Pros:
The lobby areas are updated and they look quite nice. Convenient location.
Cons:
Unfortunately, our rooms were not as nice. Our bathroom was not clean, and we had to move. The second bathroom had blood on the shower curtain.
The gym had plenty of machines however, the floor was completely ruined and buckling (tripping hazard), and also missing in many places around the edges.
There was a large daily charge for parking that was not listed when we made the reservation. This was disappointing because we chose this particular hotel because it had parking included."
"This was our 2nd stay. The (2) ladies who checked us IN were extremely off-putting and not at all helpful explaining why we didn’t get the room we’d hoped for. Not all travelers are “app-savvy” and they should have been a bit more helpful and understanding. I felt we’d also disturbed their conversation, a pretty big “welcoming disappointment”honestly.
We had breakfast upstairs at Sonoma, and it was a completely different, totally uplifting experience. A HUGE SHOUT-OUT to waitresses Madison and Segen, and to our cook Narcisso. Madison is IMPECCABLY VERSED in ALL “nuances” of waitressing. She was dressed elegantly, soft spoken, and served our food to us as if we were in a British tea room…classy, professional, polite and smiley. Segen was alert, prompt and she just zipped around on her feet. She kindly told my husband that he’d dropped his wallet on the ground…and this was as she walked past our table! Thank you so much Madison and Segen; we will not forget our experience at Sonoma and we WILL be back, ALL because of your outstanding service and kindness. You are a great team! Last but not least, a shoutout to chef Narcisso. The avocado toast with poached eggs was outstanding; the eggs were soft inside, yet cooked to such perfection. The avocado was fresh and so creamy and the arugula was crunchy, nutty and refreshing! My husband’s omelette was “pale”, and the potatoes were served cold. Better luck next time."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tulsa Downtown/Route 66
10/10 Excellent
"Great clean large suite. 2 queens and a sofa bed. Mini fridge, microwave, usual amenities. Ice only on lobby and 5th floors but not an issue. Small sundry area by check in area. Large breakfast area with small and large waffles and everything else. Juices, coffee, different stuff. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and bacon, etc. friendly staff."
"We were first shown a room where the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, towels all over the floor, etc. Just very obvious. We switched rooms. The young man on shift that night (it was after midnight) was very helpful. The next day we went to a concert and came back in a wave. About 25 people stood in the lobby for nearly an hour waiting on someone to help us with a variety of things. Some people were trying to check in, some just wanted a towel, some needed a pillow, some wanted to purchase snacks. We stood there forever waiting, phones ringing, not a single person at the front desk. When someone finally appeared, they said they were out of pillows & blankets. Absolutely ridiculous."
