Without doubt one of the favorite resort so far! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and our names were mentioned on a welcoming letter with a nice treat at the bangalo we stayed. The staff was extremely friendly, delicious breakfast, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant staff super deserves a special thanks. We had 4 great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.
Pousada linda. Quartos amplos e bem limpos. Apenas alguns detalhes que deixaram a desejar: Staffs poderiam ser mais solicitos (nunca foram rudes, mas não foram muito acolhedores). viajamos para comemorar o aniversario de meu marido, solicitei que esperassem com um espumante ou algo especial no quarto (eu pagaria); avisaram que deixariam um mimo mas "esqueceram". Relembrei eles no dia seguinte e combinamos que deixariam na ultima noite, mas mais uma vez esqueceram. Outra vez solicitei um creme corporal (ja que o pessoal da limpeza esqueceu de colocar qualquer produto naquele dia - nem sabonete!), avisaram que ja levariam mas, esqueceram...
Great stay. Helpful staff(English spoken)—arranged vehicle delivery to hotel, snorkel gear. Breakfast very good with nice view. 10 minute walk to town with restaurants/shopping.
Don’t book there. Book elswhere. It’s the worst hotel management we have seen from all our trips around the world. The hotel suddently cancelled our booking few weeks prior our arrival saying there’s is an issue with credit card. They should have give us some days to check with our credit card company. In a result we had to suddenly re-book quickly another room which was much more expensive. (More than 1400$ usd increase). I then tried to fix the issue with hotels.com. They couldn’t do anything and say the hotel can do what they want. Well I say that Hotels.com should remove this hotel from the hotels they propose as its unacceptable to put guest in this kind of situations when you never know if your booking is confirmed or not. I have the confirmation of the initial booking and everything was ok.
Also, the managemrnt of the hotel totally don’t care. When they have your money we’ll forget about asking anything else. Hotels.com neither.
Finally there was so many repairs. Forget about a relaxing stay. This, again, the management totally don’t care.
The only positive note I see from this hotel is the wonderful breakfast in the morning. It’s great.
But seriously for the price they ask, it’s absolutely not at the level.
Im really dissapointed with hotels.com and this hotel management as they were not able to solve this issue and didn’t really care. You don’t steal money from guest like that. Give time to guests to fix a credit card situation if it happen.
