This hotel is being renovated, but this did not impact our stay. Our room was beautifully updated and the construction did not interfere with services provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and truly dog friendly. One can leave their dog in the room and go, it’s not required to bring the dog with you, like some other hotels. There’s even a hang tag to warn housekeeping to not let the pet out. I will be on the lookout for Homewood Suites in the future when I travel.
