"The location couldn’t have been better for skiing (which we didn’t do) and just enjoying the village. The room was spacious and well laid out, and while older, the bathroom looked recently updated. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, but my FAVOURITE thing about the hotel were the fireplaces! A REAL fireplace that we thoroughly enjoyed. You must use special preformed logs from the front desk but the first one is free, and any after that are only $5. Well worth it for hours of warm flickering light, it’s so peaceful. On Christmas eve they delivered Rocky mountain chocolates (YUM) and a bottle of wine to our room, a very nice unexpected gift. I would definitely stay again. The only downfall was the pool and hot tub were closed, and this is not mentioned when booking. I did get a text from a general manager welcoming us and letting us know, but at that point it was too late to cancel without being charged. Disappointing as I was truly looking forward to a warm soak Christmas eve and a nice swim Christmas morning. I will say we did receive LOTS of correspondence from various managers before, during and after our stay. I don’t think I’ve ever felt that my experience and opinion mattered more than it did to the management of this hotel and it was APPRECIATED! Overall a fantastic experience with very comfy bed, nice clean room, good service and a great price for the area. "

"We stayed 8 days at Pan Pacific and we were all really impressed with the service, cleanliness, breakfast options, and comfort! The staff all went above and beyond from front desk, breakfast, room attendants, and bell service! The room was spacious and had everything you needed to cook meals in room! The location was great to access everything in Whistler Village. The access to the ski locker at sister hotel was perfect for storing everything needed for mountain. The hotub was amazing after a full day of skiing and the added touches of snacks at the apres ski was perfect. We loved out stay and will definitely sta again next time in Whistler. They still only had one elevator working which didn’t bother us, as we just used the stairs. And I was nervous about the breakfast that included, but they were plenty of hot options available, along with fresh pastries, fruit and a coffee machine and juices! It was a great added touch to not have to go out for breakfast! Thanks Pan Pacific for making Christmas at Whistler magical! "
