This hotel is beautiful on the inside. Large and comfortable rooms with amazingly comfy beds that are reclining. Huge clean bathroom, tons of electric outlets in the room. The lobby and restaurant is also very stylish with plenty of space, yet gives a cozy atmosphere with lighting and a fireplace. The food at dinner was great, and there was a huge selection at breakfast. Something for everyone! They even have a games room for kids to play foozeball or Ping pong. We didn’t have time to check out the pool, but we will be back next year!

A smile and some kindness pays off

This is the kind of hotel where i’m willing to drive an extra 75 km in order to come back. Especially because of the personal at the reception. The hotel was under construction but that does not mean anything if you are welcomed with a genuine smile and so much friendly faces. Employee offered me a cup of coffee during check in, showed interest in the guests and showed maximum flexibility. 10-10. With every future visit to the Dala region I’m coming back here. Please share my complements with the front office staff, they are gold for your hotel.

You can’t predict who your neighbors will be

This hotel has a beautiful view from the upper floors, so beautiful you might want to lie in bed and just watch the clouds and trees (we spent time doing just that!). The Murphy bunks are a great idea, and more hotels should jump on that idea. We missed having an electric kettle/coffee maker in the room, but we can see space is limited. Our stay would be a full 5 stars, but they were housing participants in a middle school football / soccer tournament being held around Falun. It seemed no adults were helping the kids know about appropriate behavior when staying in a hotel. Really, this isn’t the fault of the hotel, so I should award them 5 stars simply for being so professional with these barely supervised young people. Excellent, superb breakfast. Many many stars for that. The staff were also superb.

Dårlig renhold på badet.

Dårlig renhold på fliser på badet. Tørt og dårlig brød til frokost. Varmt på rommet,kunne kunn opne vinduet på gløtt. Ingen aircondition. Det eneste som var positivt at sengen var god å ligge i . Mye biltrafikk støy rett utenfor hotellet gjennom hele natten. Hadde ikke valgt dette hotellet igjen. Styr unna !!!!!

Bra men lite för varmt

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rent och fint rum med bekväma sängar. Vi hade ett problem: rummet var för varmt för att det skulle vara bekvämt för oss. Det var 24-25 grader dygnet runt och det gick inte att sänka värmen. Golvet i badrummet var ett värmegolv och det var MYCKET varmt. Man kunde inte stänga av det då det saknades reglage. Personalen försökte hjälpa oss och sökte efter fel i datorn och frågade vaktmästaren. Vi fick först veta att man skulle hålla fönstret stängt för att klimatanläggningen skulle fungera. Det hjälpte inte utan temperaturen var densamma. Sedan stängde de av värmegolvet via datorsystemet, men det fungerade bara tillfälligt och det blev varmt igen nästa dag - ännu varmare än tidigare. Temperaturen i rummet fortsatte att vara 25 grader. Senare fick vi veta att man behövde stänga av elektriciteten i rummet för att värmegolvet skulle stängas av. Det var inget passande alternativ då vi behövde ha el under natten för att ladda dator och hörapparater (som tar hela natten).

Mycket bra

Jättebra hotell för familjen. Tyvärr jättevarmt när vi var där, både ute (nästa 30) och på rummen. AC verkade inte finnas och fönstret gick bara att öppna en smal springa. Kommer gärna tillbaka när det inte är fullt så varmt väder. Servicen i resturang var lite si och så, men maten och frukosten var god.

Skuffende morgenbuffet, men ellers en god overnatn

Pænt ny renoveret, smilende sødt personale i receptionen, behagelige senge og rart med aircondition. Der var stille og roligt om natten, også et plus. Vi havde glædet os til morgenbuffetten, med røræg og bacon, men der blev vi skuffede.. Kalkunbacon og æggene havde slet ikke fået nok, der var mere væske end end æg. Når man vælger den nemme løsning med pulveræg i ovn, så skal man godt nok huske at give dem længe nok og røre i dem - da jeg nævnte det for personalet, var svaret 'bare', at sådan var deres æg - tyndt svar og matchende æg!

Boendet var i stort sett bra. Bra sängar men litet rum. Plus för gratis parkering och bra läge. Minus för frukosten, kaos med mycket folk samtidigt och mycket som tog slut. Gällde även maten på restaurangen på kvällen.

Att det inte blir 5 stjärnor beror på att det inte fanns någon luftkonditionering och fläkten förde oväsen. Och god frukost men matborden dukas inte av, de tomma faten fylls för långsamt.

Motion och kultur

Mycket trevligt med närhet till träning och även en kortare promenad ner till centrum. Var även vid Stångtjärns motionsområde fint med varierande spår och bad. Besök till bl a Carl Larssonsgården, Linnés bröllopsstuga, Nittsjö keramik.

Det var bra men vårt dubbelrum mycket litet så det inte fanns rörelsefrihet. Dessutom inte särskilt lyckat utan garderob. Saknade också badrumsmattan. Rummet borde vara ett enkelrum.
