"The hotel is new and beautiful. Our favourite hotel on our Europe vacation! We enjoyed walking through the vineyards and sitting by the pool. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!"

"The room itself was nice and the hotel is in a great location. The hotel amenities ARE NOT INCLUDED. Be aware that if you want to use the hot tub/pool/sauna, you must pay PER HOUR and by reservation. Depending on the time of day it cost 15-30 euro per person. This was unclear from the Expedia listing and the hotel’s website. Granted, the spa area is quite nice-we ended up paying for it. The staff on arrival was ambivalent at best. We could hear her in the back when we came in but she did not come out. I gave a hello-still nothing. After ringing the bell, she came out after a minute and glared at us. Not a great welcome."

Can walk into the town on an (unlit) country track in about 15minutes , longer if by the main road. Comfortable room lacking a fridge and water heater, which would usually be normal for a 4 star hotel. "
