"The hotel is old and in serious need of renovation. The room was humid and caused everything to be wet! It smelled like stale beer and a wet dog! The hot water was iffy. Sometimes you were able to get hot water right away and sometimes you had to wait a while. On a positive note the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We will not stay here again!"

"I am someone who traveled for work so I have stayed in some of the nicer hotels available and some of the worse. However, we chose Margaritaville to celebrate our seventh year anniversary. My stay at Margaritaville fell well below expectations but still paying a premium price for the weekend. when we arrived on site during check-in, I only saw one person that had a smile on their face that appeared appreciative that customers were there. Once we arrived in the room, there was no TV remote. Within the first hour of arrival, We attempted to call the front desk three times before actually getting someone on the phone. We then wait over an hour with another reminder called to the front desk before a remote to be brought up to turn the television on. While there we lost television signal numerous times due to incoming storms. There were no other options to stream or cast videos from the television.We found the bed uncomfortable compared to other hotels when paying this amount of money. Overall, I was very disheartened to pay the price that I paid for the state that we had. I felt the prices were very high compared to the services offered."

"It was a decent place for what we needed and affordable. Their continental breakfast was awful. Really nothing to even eat and everything was dirty. The staff actually told us to go next door for their breakfast. We were also told to go next door for a vending machine. The rooms had a funny smell. And although it’s been “recently updated” it’s nothing spectacular and the work was done awfully. Towels were super soft, beds were comfortable, and it was cheap, but we definitely got what we paid for."

"Handicap room was not for handicap people. Kept tripping over prison like bed frame. The bath was a challenge as there was a tub instead of a shower. Could not get my leg over the tub lip and the detachable shower head was too high to reach. Finally the sofa was dirty. Where did this motel get its 8.2 rating. Can’t believe it’s in the Wyndham family."

"The finish was bubbling up on the wall in the room I was staying in. The hall was very dirty and walls and floors had damage. The elevators aren’t working. The front desk did not have any toothpaste. The whole hotel had a slight smell to it."
