Great place

Great hotel with lots of activities, we did SUP , pickleball, Padel , pingpong …etc and walk , play on the beach all day long ! The retreat club was fantastic , the snacks at the pool club were very tasty! We like restaurant Sandy’s grill more than familj but they were both good . The room with a large balcony facing seaside view was an incredible experience , watching the sunset and sipping a warm cup of tea ! All in all it was an awesome family trip , we will absolutely come back again :)

Time for improvement

The hotel presents itself as a high-category property, and guests naturally have certain expectations. Unfortunately, these were not met at all. Starting with the positives: the hotel does have its own charm. It’s lovely that there are fireplaces in several areas, and the breakfast restaurant was excellent—the food was delicious, varied, and the views were stunning. The location is also a strong point, as the hotel sits directly on the beach. Now the negatives: the hotel does not live up to its claimed category because it clearly needs renovation. In my room, the toilet seat was absolutely broken, hooks in the bathroom were missing, the mattress was very uncomfortable, and the carpets in the common areas were old and dirty and should be replaced.. The staff were friendly and pleasant, but the spa was the biggest disappointment. It is nowhere near the standard of a high-end spa. There are plaster ceilings in the wet areas, and no temperature indicators or measuring devices in either the sauna or the Turkish bath. No rinsing hoses in the turkish bath. Overall, the spa was a complete shock. In Sweden, alcohol is available for purchase in spas, and perhaps that is why many people enjoy this hotel. But in reality, it can only appeal to those who have never visited a proper spa. Still, I give it three stars because of the excellent breakfast, the atmospheric restaurant, and the efforts of the staff.

Väldigt besviken på SPA delen. Bubbelpoolen var en inte bubbelpool, utan en pool med lite bubblor i mitten. Alla varma pooler var utomhus. Bastun vsr väldigt liten. Väldigt trångt vid frukosten. Redturangen vsr full så vi ficks aldrig någon middag. Aldrig mer.

Værelset var rent og pænt, og restauranterne på hotellet var virkelig gode – hvilket er ekstra vigtigt, da der ikke er mange andre gode spise­muligheder i området. Personalet var venligt og gjorde deres arbejde, men uden at skille sig særligt ud. Til gengæld var rengøringen og selve hotellets stand på topniveau. Flot indretning, lækkert spaområde og flere forskellige wellnessfaciliteter gjorde opholdet rigtig behageligt.

Very nice hotel, nice clean room. Wonderful view, good breakfast. Nice Spa, great beach 🏝️ and bridge to swim from. Only negative note is that the surrounding buildings are not that nice. But the hotel is wonderful and so is the staff. I Can recommend. Business conference.

Vi har varit på hotel Strandbaden förut, så vi visste vad som väntade! Relalaxa! Vi unnade oss ett rum med balkong mot havet! Visserligen rasade stormen Floris en aning. Men vi tog en filt och sökte skydd mot väggen och njöt av magnifik utsikt och ett naturens skådespel! Vi tog ett spa-paket där det ingick tvårätters middag! Väl värt! God mat och fin service! Och att sen lägga sig i den varma utomhuspoolen under natthimlen kan ju inte bli bättre! Morgonen med jogging på stranden i vacker och blåsig miljö och veta att frukosten väntar, gav bästa starten!

Lite besviken

Vi var där som en familj. Det fanns ett stort lekrum samt biljard och andra spel för de lite äldre barnen. Vi blev dock lite besvikna över att vi inte fick använda hotellets pooler eftersom vi hade med oss en 4-åring. Poolen var endast tillgänglig för barn mellan kl. 9–10 på morgonen, vilket kändes väldigt begränsat. Istället hänvisades vi till en allmän badplats. Hade vi velat vara där, hade vi bokat ett annat boende – inte ett för 2000 kr per natt. Med det sagt var personalen supertrevliga och väldigt service-minded, och vi tillbringade ändå mest tid nere vid stranden där vi badade och hade det bra

Fint läge på stranden

Rent och fint i rummen och restaurangen mm men korridorerna luktande sur hund och mattan där hade väldigt mkt gamla fläckar som gav ett ofräscht intryck. Fin utsikt från rummets balkong. Fin strand men såklart mkt ljud därifrån en fin dag med mkt badgäster; musik, högljudda skrik/ prat etc

Opreklameret hotel

Ok hotel, men finder det lidt opreklameret. Droppede spa dag 2, da det ikke rigtig hittede hos os. Udendørs spaen var fin, de andre ligegyldige. Det var ofte lidt for proppet til vores smag. Maden i restaurant Famille var til gengæld meget lækker. Godt råd - gå tidligt til morgenbuffet - ellers kan du ikke få et bord, hvilket burde kunne styres bedre. Deres personale burde rydde ledige borde lidt hurtigere til næste gæst og gerne fjerne brugt service, mens man sidder der. Det skete ikke. Pool-bord og Shuffle-board stod skævt, så det ødelagde glæden ved at spille. Vil langt hellere anbefale Hotel Skansen i Båstad.
