We booked here last minute as the hotel we had booked in San Juan had no water for the foreseeable future. It was a great place to just chill and relax, and is close to lots of useful things in the area. The pool area was quiet and relaxing. The bar had a decent selection for a hotel, and the lunch sandwiches were also surprisingly tasty. The free breakfast was basic but did the job! You are about a 10min walk from the kiosks or about a 30min walk from Luquillo for food options (obviously very...

The staff on the grounds are incredibly warm and friendly. Yes the rooms are small (be sure you are comfortable with you’re comfortable with your friend/partner), but it is built on an ecologically friendly model from containers and locally owned. There are some issues with humidity as its located in/next to the rainforest, but that’s to be expected

We stayed here for 10 days and fell in love with Vieques and the Seagate. The location is great and it is easy to walk into town to cafes and restaurants or the beach. Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed, small kitchen area, and lovely terrace with a view of the sea. The staff here, especially Kelly and Penny, are wonderful, so helpful and knowledgeable. The property is beautiful.

We arrived at hix, to a room we had paid £200 a night for, to the room looking nothing like the website. I had booked it 3 months in advance and was very excited, we’d booked for 5 nights The room was dark and the lights that did work were cold, the shower and toilet room was really dire and quite frankly looked like a prison, it looked like the room hadn’t had a lick of paint and update since the build. And the website photos show it from 20 years ago, the website does not show the reality...

We had gone to Vieques Island only for one night mainly to do the Bio Bay Tour (which is out of this world ! ). Since we would not be spending a lot of time at our hotel/apartment we chose to stay at the Villa Coral for the night. The Villa itself although about a mile inside from the main Esperanza beach is conveniently located and well-known on the island. The staff/owner at the reception were ware and friendly and we got to our room within minutes. The room itself although small had...

Travelling solo/backpacking on a budget, I was so glad to have been recommended Lazy Jack's Hostel on Vieques island by Shaun that currently works there. Great location in Esperanza on South coast. Where tourists and locals enjoy to socialise/eat/drink (I can recommend the great burgers!). Staff were lovely and Shaun really is invaluable and can help with any suggestions to enhance your vacation. Convenient facilities, plenty of showers/toilets, use of kitchen/fridge, close to supermarket. I...
