"The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Check-in was simple. After traveling all day, we were ready to check-in and have a delicious dinner before settling in for the night. The person at the front desk recommended a Mexican restaurant that was within walking distance, and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and breakfast was good. Convenient parking. Would stay there again. "

"The 1st room was horrible. It smelled bad. When I pulled the blankets back to go to bed the were several black hairs and stains on the sheets. There were small pieces of chips in the cupboard. There were several small sticky spots on the floor. There were also brown spot on one of the pillows. When I went to the front desk to report the problems. I had to wake up the clerk. The she acted like I made the mess and was rude. She put me in a different. This room was a bit cleaner but still had its own problems. The stove top had a film over that was nasty and was easily scraped off. There was also a spot in the cupboard that looked like dried milk. When I brought this to the manager attention she said had spoken to the house keeper. The manager acted like I was bothering her."

"This hotel perfectly met the needs of our family of three. Check in and check out were easy. The location for visiting downtown Columbia and the zoo was quite convenient, and of course the price was better than staying right downtown. You also have convenient food, gas, and grocery shopping options within a mile or so. The property was clean, parking was easy, and we didn't have any problems. It was our second time to stay at a StayAPT and it works for us. Be advised that these properties do not have 24-hour front desk service, the service is more limited than at a traditional hotel, so that might not work for all travelers."
