"Lovely stay, clean rooms, friendly staff, great location in an amazing building. Loved all the historical features of the coal exchange ! Only disappointment was the availability of breakfast food and drinks. Timing was not great for keeping the food topped up to handle the number of guests. When we did get food it was excellent quality!"

Quiet and a good nights sleep…but… Very disappointed you had to pay extra to use the pool as the hotel is not a cheap option. Breakfast was disappointing- felt mass produced and not much space around the tables. Staff pleasant but we didn’t feel special. On balance great location but expensive."

"A nice clean hotel with large rooms. My only complaints would be the £10 charge to use the swimming pool (yes, it included the sauna and steam room but I only wanted to swim). Also the reception desk was not staffed when we tried to check out just after 0800hrs on the Sunday morning."
