Last summer we spent a month travelling overland by train from London to Beijing. The Trans-Siberian railway was a real 'bucket-list' trip for us and we loved the time spent on the trains. In Russia especially, where the trains moved slowly across the never-changing countryside for hours and hours and HOURS on end we got into a a new rhythm of travel. It wasn't about where we were headed but enjoying the journey - reading, eating, chatting, napping, playing cards and most of all watching the world go by outside our window.
