Very old characteristic hotel
"Clean, quiet and close to the town centre. We had to queue to check in, one receptionist on duty and three couples waiting. The bedroom was clean and well presented, the bed comfortable but the pillows hard but that’s a personal preference. No streaming on the TV, ie, no Netflix or other media channels. ..."

Metropole Hotel needs a bit of TLC.
"We were visiting family in Llandrindod Wells and this seemed one of the few hotels open there now. It's a massive place in need of tlc. Not sure if the owners will ever be able to get it back to its former Victorian splendour. The pool and spa area are a good extra. Not really sure it's a 4* hotel ..."

"Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside is the noise from the flats above and below, but this was daytime only ..."
