"For the price, you are paying for the amazing loch views, and quiet serenity. Staff was very nice and helpful, food was great. However the owners need to update the rooms at this price point. I don’t mind experiencing the old charm of Scotland but not if it’s 1985 charm. Bathroom needs updating, even a curved shower curtain would go a long way. Wooden Floors are extremely creaky. "My friend and I stayed 2 nights at the Highlands apartment and loved it. The apartment was a little tricky to find as there are many fire doors to go through but once we figured it out, it was no big deal. The apartment was very spacious and clean. We booked an executive, one bedroom at the beginning of June. The location was so amazing, walkable to everywhere, including train station. Our room had a castle view and river view from the balcony. There is not AC but two portable fans available....

"Great staff and location. Check-in was fast and easy. Lots of off-street parking. Plenty of shopping and dining options within a ten minute walk. Room was clean and quiet. My only complaint is the duvet was a little small for the bed. "
