It was super clean and very well maintained. There trails were clear and easy for the entire family to walk through. The hang out spots on the property were relaxing and inviting. Excellent place to stay!
This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was great. They went above and beyond anything that we asked. We loved the sauna, their pool and the little walking trails. They have live music on saturday night, that we quite enjoyed. We cannot wait to book our next day there.
The entire property is being remodeled. We were notified the day before our stay that key amenities (pool, spa, breakfast, etc.) would be unavailable. Cancellation was offered, but we only needed a place to sleep, so we stayed.
We arrived around 3 p.m. while crews were still working, and their music carried across the property until about 5 p.m. The rooms appeared recently finished but still had strong paint/off-gassing odors. Our biggest issue was the exterior doors—no weather stripping or thresholds, with visible gaps letting in daylight (and potentially bugs or small animals). Only one room in our row had a proper seal; I was able to switch rooms.
Each room had a porch light but no switch to control it. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft. The AC/heat worked well and was fairly quiet. No fridge in the room, though one was available in a shared laundry area. Soundproofing is poor—we could clearly hear neighbors above us early in the morning and late at night. There was also debris scattered on the hillside outside.
Nearby dining helped salvage the stay—McGarity’s was excellent. The fire pit area was enjoyable, though lacking proper extinguishing resources per posted rules.
Overall, not a terrible stay, but it didn’t live up to the name, photos, or expectations. Might be worth revisiting after renovations are complete.
Incredible place. The glass mirrored sauna tucked in the forest was totally unexpected. They’ve got really nice walking trails throughout. Only about 5 minutes from town which is super convenient, and there’s a trolley stop right out front. What a hidden gem!
This place was fantastic. Lover the amenities. Very comfortable clean rooms. We bought our dog and walked the trails to the creek and he loved it. Staff super helpful! Will definitely return
If I could give more stars I would!! Such a cute, freshly renovated property. Owner and staff were so friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond making us feel really welcomed in Eureka Spring's. Already planning our next relaxing weekend getaway here again!
We booked forest springs resort for a long weekend and honestly didn’t want to leave. The property is tucked right into the pines, you feel like you’re away from everything but can still get to downtown for dinner in mins. We spent most afternoon out on the deck with drinks, hitting the sauna in the evening and hanging out by the fireplace at night. If you’re looking for somewhere to actual relax and unplug this is it!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We recently visited Forest Springs Resort and had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The natural surroundings create a relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway, family vacation, or place to reconnect with nature, Forest Springs Resort is a fantastic choice.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommend!
I wish I could give 6 stars instead of 5. This property is a hidden gem!
- In the very back of the resort are gravel covered walking trails, two person hammocks, a sauna and a very chilly plunge pool (I didn't try them due to a heart condition, but I was tempted).
- The rooms and beds are amazing. Very clean and comfortable and I could have stayed in the walk-in shower all day.
- VERY dog friendly! They have a grassy dog walk area and have a poop bag dispenser (only dogs that travel with their owners know what that is). I bet we saw at least six or seven dogs in addition to our elderly pug.
- Really nice pool area. Even if you don't swim in the pool, the seating areas are very cozy and relaxing. I sat out there a couple of times just reading a book.
- Great location that allows quick trips in both directions to attractions like The Great Passion Play and historic downtown Eureka Springs. There are some really good places to eat right across the street, especially for breakfast, and about a tenth of mile down the road is an amazing restaurant called McGarity's Restaurant & Irish Pub (be sure to make reservations).
- The courtyard was my absolute favorite. A grassy area with a huge firepit, comfortable outdoor chairs, a covered platform which actually was a stage for live music Saturday night that was amazing! I hope they continue that because it was a nice way for adults, kids, and dogs to enjoy an evening outdoors in a safe environment.
We will return!
We had a wonderful stay at Forest Springs Resort and will definitely be back. The property is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. The entire concept of the resort creates a peaceful, relaxing retreat while still being conveniently close to downtown Eureka Springs.
We especially enjoyed the sauna, pool, and the live music on Saturday night. Sitting around the fire surrounded by string lights while listening to live music created such a fun and inviting atmosphere.
We traveled as a family of four with our 8- and 12-year-olds. While the resort seems like a perfect getaway for couples, it was also a great fit for our family and we all had a fantastic time.
A special thank you to Summer, who made our checkout quick and easy. She was incredibly pleasant, friendly, and helpful.
Highly recommend Forest Springs Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Eureka Springs!
Very cool place. They are still in the process of renovating but getting closer. Loved that it was pet friendly. The only complaint is the wifi in building 4 was very very slow. Not sure how it is in the other buildings. Would definitely stay here again. We didn’t do the cold plunge or sauna but many did and they said it was great!!
This property is beautiful, the rooms are so comfortable and the nature walk to the most beautiful sauna and cold plunge area. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks and swimming in that beautiful pool
This place is amazing! It’s such a breath of fresh air compared to the older dustier options in Eureka Springs. The wellness focus, the pool, the paths in the forest, the sauna! It’s where I will for sure be staying everytime I visit now. And the rooms are so clean and luxurious. I cannot recommend it enough

We never received our code for check in and no one answers the phone. My husband finally had to go find the office to get our room code. There wasn’t enough parking, our bathroom door would get stuck when you closed it, and our room smelled like paint. There were several outdoor sitting areas that were very nice, but it definitely doesn’t look like the pictures.
