"We had an excellent stay. Staff were super friendly, food was great and the water sports were a big hit with the kids.
There were a large number of mosquitoes on the island, make sure you bring insect repellent with you."
"Nasama Resort was very good value as the room we had (Ocean View 1 Bed) was spacious with a walk in robe area great for storing your luggage etc, well out of your way. The rooms can be a little dated but are clean, also the dedicated friendly staff are always around and always willing to assist. An excellent choice of Breakfast is often included and Nasama has 2 of Vanuatu's best rated restaurants on site, 3 pigs and Cafe Villa. We did have an issue with our room during our stay dues to strong trade winds and a storm, but the staff and maintenance staff worked quickly as soon as it was safe to resolve all issues. We did stay in June which is said to be a time for the best weather, how ever Trade Winds can sometimes be an issue between May and October which may make using your balcony on the Ocean view rooms as we had unusable or unpleasant at times. The Studio or 2 bedroom suites may be more sheltered in these times. We certainly would not hesitate to stay at Nasama again."
"My stay at Poppy’s was great. The staff were so friendly and just lovely. Breakfast was bought to my room each morning with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread and the accompanying condiments."
"Great location. Good amenities. Menu options limited - but breakfast included. The room was very good with everything you need. WiFi could do with a boost."
"Loved our stay. Staff were amazing. The snorkelling was great, just as expected. Hideaway is very relaxing, quiet with few residents. Even with day trippers, it didn't seem that busy. Food was great. Not alot of options but this the Beach Bar near by, there is plenty for all.
Will definitely be going back."
"The room was very generous in space, with good amenities inc a good fridge/freezer and a welcome shower with hot water for once! The pool bar was comfortable and welcoming from 7am on for food and drinks, All staff were absolutley excellent and everything was easy
Many thanks,
Craig"
"10/10 – absolutely exceptional.
Our stay at Tamanu on the Beach was nothing short of perfect. The private plunge pool villa was stunning—beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and offered the perfect level of privacy. The entire property is visually spectacular, with breathtaking views and a relaxed luxury feel throughout.
The food was outstanding. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. What truly sets Tamanu apart, however, is the staff. Every single team member was warm, professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
A special mention must go to the staff for the care they showed when my husband became unwell during our stay. They immediately stepped in to help, showing genuine concern, kindness, and support. Their response was exceptional and made a stressful situation so much easier for us.
Honestly, we cannot find a single fault with our experience. From the accommodation to the food, service, and hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Tamanu on the Beach to anyone looking for a truly outstanding getaway."
