"We had a great stay here while on our honeymoon! The beds were comfortable and the staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the rooftop pool - although there was never anyone working in the bar at the rooftop pool, but that didn't effect us. "We greatly enjoyed our stay at castanheiro boutique. The staff were the best, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. This was the best welcoming of our trip from the front reception staff. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. The views were amazing and staff were top notch. We also enjoyed the happy hour and had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. One of our best dinners in Madeira! We greatly enjoyed our stay the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will be recommending the hotel to others and hope to come back and enjoy in the future. Thank you. "When we checked in the room we were given had a broken door so we were moved to another room. The room we were changed to was not the same as what we paid for. We paid for a double sea view and had a corner view instead. We made the best of it. We enjoyed our stay and the nightly entertainment. The buffet had a different theme each night which was nice. The poor area was clean and had plenty of lounge chairs. The beach and ocean are right there with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are 2 onsite restaurants which are included with your stay. We only ate at one of them and the food was very good. The resort is very family friendly and has a lot of amenities geared to the children. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it."
