Its a good location close to the shopping malls and within easy walking distance of the Hugenot town (old town to most tourists, although there is also Alt-Erlang across the river which was the original old town back in the 17th century). The hotel itself is modern. Rooms are reasonable size, there is parking below the hotel, and staff are genuinely helpful.

We arrived at the hotel around 10pm. We were tired and cold, but as soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest receptionist named Yaiza (if I wrote her name correct). She was really helpful, professional and very courteous. She made sure that everything was fine with our stay. She made our stay very pleasant. THANK YOU! Great room was very clean and nice size bed. Nice room & convenient location

Breakfast bar was great, wide selections to choose from. Center of the town, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staffs were professional. Room was organized, but the chair for the desk was a little high to sit on, tried to adjust the height but didn’t work.

In the year 2025, you expect that decent wifi is included in the room rent, and instant on. Stayed six days and had to login to a lousy wifi solution every day.

Leider begann der Aufenthalt damit, dass uns an der Rezeption mitgeteilt wurde, dass es von 9:00 bis 18:00 kein Wasser gäbe. Nach 18.00 mussten wir als Gäste dann durch längeres laufen lassen, selbst dafür sorgen, dass klares Wasser, statt brauner Brühe aus den Wasserhähnen kam. Dieses war wohl schon seit einigen Tagen so und laut Aushang wird es auch noch an den Tagen nach unserem Aufenthalt so gewesen sein. Bei unserer Rückkehr von einem Tagesausflug mussten wir feststellen, dass das Zimmer nicht gereinigt wurde. Nach einigem suchen fanden wir dann einen Aushang im Fahrstuhl, den wir nicht weiter beachtet hatten, da wir an Werbung glaubten, mit dem den Hinweis, dass die Zimmer nur alle 4 Tage gereinigt werden. Weder bei einchecken noch durch einen Hinweis im Zimmer wurden wir darauf hingewiesen. Wir nahmen es mit Humor und dachten uns, ohne Wasser brauchen wir auch keine frischen Handtücher. Beim Auschecken brachten wir unsere Unzufriedenheit zum Ausdruck und erhielten die Auskunft, dass das mit dem Wasser leider nicht anders ginge, da man festgestellt hätte, dass die Leitungen schon längst veraltet sind. Das einzige, was man positiv vermerken kann ist, dass die Dame an der Bar sehr freundlich und bemüht war. Über das Frühstück können wir nichts sagen, das wir Auswärts gefrühstückt haben. Für unsere nächste Reise nach Erlangen kommt das NH Hotel nicht mehr in Frage.
