"Overall, I enjoyed my stay and came home feeling rested, which was the goal of my trip. The room was clean and comfortable, the walk-in shower was excellent, the breakfast was good. I did have some confusion at check-in regarding my room and my expectation of a river view. Looking back, I think I probably had about the best view available for that room category. I just wish that had been explained a little more clearly at check-in. When I went to use the pool, there wasn’t a single chair available. It was much busier than I expected for a hotel pool, which made it difficult to enjoy one of the amenities I was most looking forward to. If the hotel allows non-guests to use the pool, I think that would be helpful information for overnight guests before booking. Despite those issues, I enjoyed my visit."
