"This hotel has a very nice view over the lake. The background sound are birds singing and not the traffic. Very good service and friendly staff. With the big garden Ihink this is a family friendly place. Not very central but with a car or boda boda it does not take much time to get to the city center."

"Excellent hotel and staff! The room had a sticky desk, fingerprints and a few crumbs on small chair table, and the shower floor is peeling. Toilet must be leaning a bit because one side is higher. Upon arrival, balcony door was slightly open and unlocked and the air conditioning was off so it was like a sauna in the room. Once that was fixed, all was fine! Shuttle was good and fast. Be careful if ordering food. I found a bunch of extra ingredients added to my meal that I could not eat so I had to return it. They re-did it and added different extras which was extremely annoying and tasted awful. Please stick to the ingredients listed in the menu. Some people choose certain items because of their health and allergies!"

"We loved the Papyrus Guest House. The staff was super friendly and the dinner we had was excellent. There is a nice bar area to hang out at. The rooms were clean and safe but there was no air conditioning so it got a little warm for us. We felt safe while we were at the property. We did not seek to go out off the property for anything so we can't comment on that. Great value for the money. "
