"They catered to the Chinese people. The lodge was ok. The rooms were ok. Not well maintained. Turned electric off most of the time. Location was fabulous. I have been to Kenya many times and this is the nicest location I've encountered. It is on the Mara river. Many hippos monkeys baboons and crocks. We indicated by mail, weeks in advance, that we would like to do all game drives. Afterwards we understood that Shadrack, the General Manager, had suggested to our driver from Nairobi to leave us at the camp without the possibility to do the game drives at all. "The stay was enchanting. Our room overlooked the Mara River, allowing us to watch the hippos bathe daily. The staff was invariably friendly and smiling. Rose, our waiter, was perpetually cheerful. Caleb, in housekeeping, delighted us with charming notes. Moseka, our safari guide, impressed us with his extensive knowledge and knack for finding incredible spots. Nancy, the hotel manager, made it a point to check on us daily, ensuring our satisfaction. In summary, the experience was exceptional, and I am eager to return. My gratitude to Fairmont for their exceptional service!"
