"After my girlfriend could not come on the vacation due to appendicitis, I decided to travel to Alora solo. The region is just stunning and David and Wendy were extremely accommodating and made me feel right at home . I have never woken up to such a stunning view. "Great location. Modern and clean facility. Good breakfast selection and friendly staff. Love the body lotion provided in the bathroom. Spacious king size bed. Beautiful rooftop area. Overall a fantastic stay. Highly recommend this hotel. A side note, I didn't really receive VIP benefits as a Gold member on Expedia. I think they forgot about it or forgot to check my info. I had to ask for the supposedly included bottle of wine for it to happen. Wish I should have just mentioned it when I checked in. I just made the assumption they knew about it. By then, I already checked in to a room so it was too late for a room upgrade. So, I learned my lesson, never make assumptions; better to ask and mentioned it before hand. Other than that, the hotel itself if truly fantastic."
