"Honestly when we saw the hotel from outside and the old lobby we got a bit scared about the rooms. We were pleasantly surprised by the renovation and the nice beds. Bath still needs remodeling or a nice new coating, but it is a historic place and for a night stop was more than good.
The only problem we had was that they have nothing family friendly neither in the hotel nor in Ely, so we were stuck in the room.
The dining is limited - pricy Italian restaurant ( prices higher than San Diego and Dennys - which had terrible service- they just don’t want to serve people , you can wait for hour and they won’t take your order. "
