Horrible is an understatement
I am not sure what to say. The room was horrible. It was used as a storage room. It had spider webs in window sill. Also, there was paint pan and trash from someone lunch on the table.

The triple room does indeed have three queen beds. One is in a separate 'room' with a closable door. I put room in quotes because you can hardly walk around the bed without awkwardly turning your feet to fit. There is not really dishware as indicated on the hotels.com site and the coffee maker didn't work but there is a working mini fridge. We couldn't find anyone to check out with so we had to use the key Dropbox. The location is convenient. The beds are comfy enough. The shower has great pressure and the hot water gets really hot (and stays that way through the whole family's showers) and the cold water is refreshingly cold even in the heat of summer.

Smelly
Made a reservation weeks in advance for a room with a king bed. They only had a queen bed when we checked in, because he “didn’t know we were coming”. He was very nice and apologetic about it, but still annoying. Room smelled like cat pee and cigarettes, even after leaving the windows open for hours. Dirty old tub. No way I’d use the coffee machine. Uncomfortable saggy bed. For $60 you can’t expect much. If it weren’t for the smell, and the downgraded room, I’d give a better review.

Checked in and was taken to the room with the 3 beds as there were 3 of us. The clerk unlocked the room. Did not give us a key - no way to even lock the door. The smell was terrible. Did not feel safe so we just left and slept in our trucks. Did not feel safe staying there

Too much for too little.
My carpet was filthy. Electrical outlets were 2 prongs. Bathtub did not drain. Old facility unusual decorations - that's the least of the place. Adjacent units were long-term rentals for laborers. Noisy neighbors. Funky is acceptable if the price is cheap, then at least you are getting what u paid for. I've paid less in Wells NV for better. Quite pricey considering the quality.

Horse race vacation
Everything was ok but they asked to copy my credit card and drivers license and that has never happened to me before and didnt seem right but I went ahead with the reservation and the room was good and the service good as well. I would stay again.

Choose somewhere else.... honestly thankful I didnt get billed and didnt have to stay there. Had an Expedia reservation and when we got there the office was unstaffed and nobody answered the buzzer. Called Expedia and they woke the guy up.... he came out annoyed with belt undone and no shirt.... very annoyed I had interrupted his sleep... said they didnt have any rooms and my reservation was a mistake... (pretty sure Expedia stops booking the second a property notifies them they are full). Next Expedia hotel looked like 2-3 hours further down the road but we found a room about an hour away.

We stopped at the "Great Basin Inn" on our way to Yosemite, and it's perhaps the WORST place I've stayed in, here in the States. There was perhaps one worse in Europe, but it didn't pretend to be anything more than a Hostel. The AC in the Great Basin Inn would turn on with a clank, followed by a rattle, making it impossible to sleep. It was impossible to sleep if we turned the AC off, so we finally just got up early and left. No doubt it was a room designed for 1 bed or possibly 2 full sized beds, but they had managed to squeeze in two queen beds, but they were so close together that it was almost impossible to get past. I don't know how the place ended up with 2 stars, except that the shower was hot and the towels and sheets seemed clean.

i left an expensive pillow there with a handmade pillow case. I called them a few hours after I left and asked them to look for it. They didn't offer to go check at that time. I called a few days later on our return trip and they said they never saw it. I was very upset to say the lest.

The room was old and outdated but it was fairly clean. The property looked a little sketchy. The gentleman who checked us in was polite. I probably wouldnt stay there again.

We were warned not to smoke in room because if the maid could smell it we would be charged $250. When we tried to turn on the tv, my hand ran into a black widow spider web...and subsequently killed it. The tv never did work even after calling the mgr. The bathtub was filthy. The ceiling had unrepaired water damage. The beds were comfy. The ONLY good part.

Safe and convenience
This place is well maintained, clean and tidy, plus the staff makes sure that you have everything you need (towels, soaps, coffees) and will clean your room on daily basis. It's very convenience to everywhere (downtown, stores, restaurants). People are nice and helpful that's why I always feel safe everywhere in here.

Concern with when ask for ID and credit card, she took it in back room. Didn't need to take ID in another room. room was so clean the cleaning product odor was over whelming all night. The TV reception was not good. could not watch TV.. No phone to call and complain.

The bathroom was old and filthy
The room was newly painted and the bed was O.K. however the bathroom was filthy, The shower water temp could not be controlled and was stuck in one position only, there also was a bathtub that was filthy, and the only mirror was a medicine cabinet, there also was a shelf that was half broken so anything that was put on it fell off. there was one electrical outlet on the light over the medicine cabinet.

You get what you pay for
My check in experience was unpleasant. Although I had booked the room online, the older gentleman who waited on me said he didn't know anything about that or how to use anything online. He was quite grumpy and made me feel uncomfortable. The property is quite run down but my room was nicer than the exterior looked like it would be. My room was fairly clean. There were some strange characters hanging around outside which made me feel worried about the security of the stuff in my car.

When looking from the outside, the place looks like a dive. We were pleasantly surprised, clean rooms, comfortable beds and nice staff, no frills is right.

Not a good experience.
First off their sign was missing so we drove around the block several times before we finally found it. The check in desk looked more like a pawn shop. The clerk took my card and then disappeared for several minutes as he said he needed to use another reader- I was so shocked that I am mad at myself for not saying no- I will pay cash so needless to say it was unprofessional and I will we watching my cc statement very closely. The room was cramped but adequate-I probably shouldn't leave reviews as a lot of the stuff I don't care about. It is clean, bed comfortable and a good shower are the key things- everything else is fluff. I am not real picky but this place will not be a repeat.

Perfect for sleeping
Stayed at this hotel as we were in town for an ice derby. we needed a room big enough for potentially 6 people . With 3 queen beds this one was perfect. While this hotel does not have all the bells and whistles it does serve its purpose of a place to sleep and at half the price!!!!

We stayed there because it was near a relative's place. When I checked in, I was charged more than the Hotels.com price and I mentioned it. The desk clerk mentioned several times that the room did not rent for the Hotels.com price. Eventually she did a refund ticket and charged me the Hotels.com rate. However, both charges are still on my credit card. The room was clean but shabby, the shower dripped, the door on the freezer in the fridge kept falling off, the blinds allowed lots of light into the room even when closed, the toilet paper was 1-ply and flimsy, there was no phone in the room but there was a phone book, not a single hanger in the closet, the bathroom floor was not plumb and tiles were dropping in places, there was no accessible plug in the bathroom for a nightlight, only two bath towels in the bathroom although there were two of us and no plug for the bathtub so we had to get one from the office. There was a gap in the door and light shone through. The bed was comfortable and there were enough pillows.

I stayed here twice , on the way to Great Basin National Park and on the way back. The owners seem to be remodeling the motel, maybe one room at a time. On my first stay I got a room that was not fully remodeled - and the room had many defects. I'd give that stay a overall 2-star rating. On my second stay I got a fully remodeled room - and, I'd give it a 4-star rating. Considering the low price (compared to nearby hotels like La Quinta) I give this hotel a 4-star rating.

Not A Good Stay
The room was a disaster. Walls, doors, shower, bathroom were so bad I will never go back. It was like someone took a baseball bat to the walls and doors. Paint all over the place. I went to open the blinds over the bed and the blind came off the wall and just about hit my daughter in the head. The fire alarm was broken with wires hanging down. Good thing there wasn't a fire. The pillows were very tiny. We got the triple room, which had a quest room in it. Could not hardly walk in that room. It was like a closet that they put a bed and dresser in. Not nearly big enough. The woman who worked there, although, was very nice.

It was a ittle scary for young family members. we slept with chair against the door for safety. If not so tired from long travel and predicted bad weather on desert road, we would have taken the loss and left. the bathroom was from the 60's, but clean. the mattresses were old and worn, but blankets were clean. we did leave at dawn and will look extra hard at ratings before we book in the future

Ups and downs for Mom and Pop
Looked like a real dump outside but surprizingly nice rooms. Only shades needed to be replaced immediatley actually scummy but the rest was exceptional. Exterior needs quality landscaping (would see a good design save any criticizm) and update but family owned and very nice people. Stayed and extra day because I was comfortable.

The place is a dump!
Since room was paid for made the best of it and stayed but wondered abound vermin, etc. Definitely a not recommended place to stay.
