"The lodge is clean but a little dated. Breakfast was great & the hot tubs are good after a day of skiing. Places to eat within walking distance & easy access to highway. manager was totally awesome. I broke my leg while skiing & she was terrific in assisting me with breakfast, loading gear & doing anything to help me. I don't know how I could have managed without her kindness."

"Overall facility is very clean. Close to all the local ski resorts. Close to just about everything. Its pretty much walkable to a lot of places. Very reasonable pricing. Nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast is very basic. No hot food. It would be nice if they had a waffle maker."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Block and also this litter city, Silverthorne. We stayed 2 nights in the Container Room which sleeps 3. We are a family of 3 and so my daughter took the futon and we took the queen bed. It was comfy and sufficient space for our family. Everything was very clean and well organized. The common/community areas are very user friendly and welcoming. The view from our room was also gorgeous! We got a great view of Blue River. The icing on top is it snowed the last night we were here so we woke up to a picturesque view of a blanket of white snow over the mountains and land nearby. This hotel is also very inclusive and pride friendly! We were very impressed! We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!"

"Hotel is awesome and highly recommend! Only two things on the down side is shower water pressure is low but it is in a Mtn Town ( not sure if that makes a difference) and Pool water is cold and not enjoyable. "
