"Our stay was incredible. We were met by Kim when we arrived to check in and she was amazing. We upgraded our room, got extremely helpful advice and tips. We loved loved loved the warm chocolate chip cookies and had a great chat after supper sitting by the fire in the lounge. Kim gave us great information about the hotel and its family history, as well as some fun stories about hosting the hockey kids who come to play in town. Dinner in Generations was delicious- the apple cranberry compote was a lovely treat beside the Das Meatloaf and (as someone who can’t have canola or seed oils) the fact that their fryer has beef tallow instead allowed me to have some of their yummy fries! Thanks to Vince for sharing that info! We will be back for sure - maybe in the summer to enjoy the beach out back!"

"This is an older property well maintained. You can feel the history in its building. The room I had was a double queen and had a sitting room. It's nice not to have to sit on your bed to watch tv. There was a tv in both the sitting room and the bedroom. The bathroom was very lux. High end finishes. The beds were comfortable with FULL SIZE pillows. Much appreciated. Am planning on returning soon."
