"The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. The downside to this accommodation is that I would say it is only accessible via tuk tuk or car it’s not in walking distance to shops / other restaurants. "

"Outstanding property. Very quiet admist nature with river flowing nearby. Room was big and clean, jaccuzi was great and the food was delicious. But what stood out was the customer service of the people who work there. In all my travel I have never experienced such a customer service anywhere. Especially Asalanka and Dimender. They were soft spoken, clearly explained everything and was willing to help with anything. The people who work there is what makes the difference and is definitely a highlight of my Srilanka trip. Definitely Recommended 5 stars. "
