"Parking easy, friendly check in staff. Odd smell in rooms, had to purchase air freshener plug ins and open windows for a bit. Rooms clean.. fridge, freezer, microwave and sink. Little coffee maker for morning. And walking distance to a Denny’s and a Dutch Bros there is also a Safeway across the street as well as a dollar store."

"Great historic property and central to everything in Placervile. Old building, so heat/cooling is tricky, and with hard wood floors, it was a little chilly but extra blankets provided. Squeeky floors, loud door and old windows with lots of street noise, but all to be expected. Well equipped and fun to stay at such an old hotel with so much history. "

"The room was awesome. The condition was ok. The couches are white as it is decorated the way it was in the olden days and they are a bit dirty. I understand that. I was not comfortable sitting on it but I loved the room. There was no coffee in the room so that was no bueno. "

"The staff here is so welcoming and accommodating!! The room was so clean and the entire area is so quiet and quant. We were staying in a room above the dining room and had no issues with the noise level or anything from the guests enjoying dinner. Staff was all so kind, 10/10"

"I've been coming to Westhaven Inn for close to 20 years, to visit family in Pollock Pines. I've always enjoyed staying here in the past because of the friendly staff, cleanliness, etc. Now under new ownership and management, the place is being completely renovated and updated to a new level of loveliness. And I'm glad to see that the tradition of friendly, helpful staff continues and far exceeds expectations. Thanks for the lovely stay. I'll see you all next time :-) "
