• Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, including at screening checkpoints. You should be prepared to lower your mask to verify your identity when asked by a TSA employee.
• Rather than handing a TSA employee your boarding pass, position it directly on the scanner yourself. Then, hold it up for inspection.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on baggage. It must be no bigger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to take it out of your bag for screening.
• Empty your personal items from your pocket, like your wallet, keys and phone, and put them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will minimize handling during screening.
• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also place them in a screening bin. Separating food from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA officer will need to open your bag for inspection.
