"The staff was very helpful and room was very clean—liked the king sized bed and that the shower had hot water—rare along the El Salvador coast. Pool and location next to beach was nice as well. Free room service was a good touch also.
Hotels.com site misleads a little. The Deluxe King suite does not have an ocean view, nor does it have a bathtub in the room, as the photos show on the listing. There’s only one room on the whole property that has all those things, which we did not find out until we got there—their VIP suite. The internet/WiFi connection is very poor, so their TV consistently froze up when it was used. We also had to call maintenance to get the toilet repaired twice—for such a pricey hotel, not sure so much effort needed to be put into that.
Overall, a good stay, but for the cost, would expect more."
