Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was beautiful. Beach was beautiful with calm water and quiet. There was excellent staff that was very friendly and attentive. It was nice to be able to access amenities on both the adult side and the grand romana side. We utilized the tennis, kayak, pool, billiards, several à la cart restaurants and all was great.
There is also a cool cave/ park very nearby to check out called Cueva de Maravillas.
Only disappointment was cigarette smoke on premises. "
"Staff is already ready with a “yes”. Food choices are all wonderful. Having the golf cart lets you fully explore the property. Kids club includes activities and they are very nice. Beach and set up is amazing - sunset and coral blue water. Only thing I would improve is the main pool not being heated at the main lobby area."
"First time in DR and will not be the last. This hotel is amazing. From the staffing to the pool, the area. I can’t find anything negative about this hotel. It’s beautiful. Great job. We will be back in June with our kids. "
"Beautiful hotel complex. The pictures don't do it justice in terms of how spacious and well designed/ kept the property is. The beach is a fairly decent walk from the hotel- about 10minutes. It's a nice walk but something to know if you think it's going to be on your doorstep. Lots of beautiful restaurants. Pools were great, esp with young kids as there were shallow areas in all 3 of the pools. Lovely breakfast. The chief concierge was really helpful and accommodating with our requests, eg for late check out. The beach is lovely- clean and relaxed. Lovely palm trees, lots of loungers and space to sit. The horse riding complex was an extra bonus- we took our 3yr old for a ride which he loved. Watch out for the new suites if you're getting an apartment- they don't have a kitchen in them (despite being very large and decked out in high end decor and fittings). They are really nicely done but missing a few helpful amenities (e.g. washer/dryer, sink in the dining area where you'd expect the kitchenette to be). The older apartment suites have much better amenities although are a bit less fancy and newly decorated."

I really want to highlight outstanding people in this resort Nelly,Amaury and Lilian. They made our anniversary unforgettable. They made us feel surrounded by best friends and family. We definitely will keep coming to this resort and recommend to our friends to do so.Resort is very clean, staff friendly and run above and beyond, food is tasty and varied, everything is within walking distance. We can't wait to return to this lovely place"
