The interior courtyard was cute and I liked that our room was right off of the courtyard.They provided towels for the beach which was very nice. "We booked this hotel under the pretense that the resturant was open for business and the taxi price rate was similar to the rest of Ecuador or the reviews in our travel book. Hotel served a nice breakfast BUT no other food is available so one must go into Puerto Ayora for lunch and dinner. The taxi rate to and from hotel into town can be anywhere from $10-$15 each way..... if u want to freshen up after a long tour that will be 4 taxi rides......$40-$60 per day. Lawrence offered us a ride...

Breakfast was made fresh to order every morning- yogurt, fruit, granola, and then the main dish which was always eggs, a breakfast meat and some side dishes which changed daily. The entire hotel was spotless. Daily housekeeping kept our room spotless as well. Mini split air conditioning in our room kept us cool and comfortable. Many thanks for a wonderful stay! "
