"We had a beautiful suite in a separate building from the main house. The food and the wine at the restaurant was terrific and it was nice to stay one night in Colonia and go sightseeing in the old town."

"Hotel is well located near to the old town, bus terminal and ferries. Room was very clean. "

"The hotel was very lovely and I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very helpful despite my limited ability to speak Spanish and I enjoyed the breakfast that was provided. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Colonia"

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Caliu. The Family House is spacious and clean, we had a delicious dinner and nice breakfasts there, and the property is so serene and beautiful. It was just a bit colder in the Family House than I was prepared for, so in the future I would pack some warmer clothes if staying during the winter. Still, I would not hesitate to stay here again! It really was a lovely place to stay."

"The room was nice and clean, the property grounds were clean and well cared for. The staff was very helpful, the hotel is in a great location close to shops and restaurants."

"The place was beautiful with a nice view. "

"Estuvo muy bien, es un lugar para pasar muy tranquilos, en familia. Tal vez faltan algunos cubiertos, maderas o utensilios básicos para usar el parrillero. El placar es muy pequeño, suficiente si vas 2 días . Pero se pasa muy bien si el clima acompaña, muy lindo jardín con piscina, muy confortable"

"Beautiful clean colonial style hotel,, Had an awesome experience,. Thanks"
