"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. "Excellent hotel. Friendly efficient staff. Parking provided. Well located in the heart of the town. Room was spacious and comfortable. Heating worked well. Good bathroom. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Good meals available in the pub. One thing to note, there is no lift in the building, so stairs have to be negotiated which could be a concern, especially with luggage."
